Don’t be busy doing something that brings you nothing.

One of the topics I tend to spend the most time covering with the agency founders I work with is on their sales and marketing.

It is very easy to very busy with this stuff but as a small agency you don't have the time, resources or headspace to do what the bigger agencies can do.

My goal is to help you create a smart agency 'eco-system' where the actions you do are high touch, big impact and build on you being the helpful expert.

Do you do a newsletter? Maybe...there is a good time to do this and a smart way to make it happen.

Do you do a webinar? Probably not.

Do you create a talk? Yes, but lets make sure the topic works hard for you.

Do you create training and workshops? Hell yeah to productising you IP, but let's make sure we are being smart with the audience and how it fits into your agency 'ecosystem'.

Someone I really learnt a lot from is Charlotte Ellis Maldari who helped me get some smart marketing in place for my agency. Do check her out - her newsletter is very good for tips and insights.

It is very easy to be busy but on activities that don't move you forward. Make sure you are thinking about your end goal - and that you are making your agency the hero to your client's problems.
